Most businesses today are connected to Social Media in some way or another way. HootSuite is referred to as a Social Media Management tool or platform. In a nutshell, it allows you to manage your various social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) from one dashboard. Anyone can use HootSuite, but it is particularly useful for streamlining the brand management of your company. It also allows delegation of tasks to different users so that duplication of posts and information across your accounts is easily avoided. It allows for posting to various platforms simultaneously, and also has a nifty (and easy to use) scheduling feature so that you could – in theory – be on a beach somewhere while your social media takes care of itself.
